ARTEMIS RELEASES NEW SINGLE “SONG FOR ABDULLAH” AHEAD OF 2022 TOUR

ARTEMIS has released a gorgeous new arrangement of Kenny Barron’s composition “Song for Abdullah” as a digital single which is available to stream or download today. The single is a previously unreleased bonus track from the collective’s acclaimed 2020 album ARTEMIS featuring pianist and musical director Renee Rosnes, clarinetist Anat Cohen, tenor saxophonist Melissa Aldana, trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, bassist Noriko Ueda, and drummer Allison Miller.

The band’s current line-up, which features saxophonist Nicole Glover replacing Aldana, will be touring extensively this year across Europe and the U.S. See below for a full list of confirmed tour dates or visit artemisband.com.
